Nominated by the Michinoku Academia Startup Platform (MASP), for which Tohoku University serves as the lead institution, we presented our research, development, and commercialization efforts for XF8302, an investigational treatment for xerostomia (dry mouth).
Preparations for the clinical development of XF8302 are underway through joint research with Tohoku University, with the university’s Head Office for Open Innovation Business Development Strategy serving as the coordinating office.
During the award ceremony, the pitch judges emphasized that overcoming the approximately 25-year innovation gap highlighted in our presentation is precisely the kind of challenge startups should take on.
Encouraged by this recognition, we will continue advancing development to bring a new treatment option to patients living with dry mouth.
